What is "Kaibigan"?
A lot of people ask what kaibigan means. "Kaibigan" is a tagalog term for friend. The club is formally known as Filipino-American Student Organization of CSUB.
Mission Statement
As the only filipino club in California State University-Bakersfield, KAIBIGAN exists to promote enrichment of the Filipino heritage and history. It strives to extend the understanding of the Filipino-American identity by integrating important aspects of academic, social, and community issues that are pertinent to the culture.
