Scholarships

Filipinos value education so much. Our club has raised funds to offer scholarships to students in CSUB.

Filipino Excellence Scholarship: The Filipino Excellence Scholarship is a CSUB initiative to increase access to a college education for academically sound and needy students with leadership potential. Students from CSUB's service area of Kern, Kings, Inyo, and Mono counties have been awarded the Filipino Excellence Scholarship since 1990 totaling over $60,000. These scholarships have helped students defray the student's financial cost at CSUB along with allowing them to realize a college education. You are invited to apply and be considered for a scholarship. The Filipino Excellence Scholarship is made possible by the contributions of the community, corporate sponsors, CSUB faculty, staff, and state lottery funds.
