Great American Clean-up 2008
Last year's Great American Clean up was successful, this year KAIBIGAN is once again planning to help keep bakersfield beautiful. The event will be held on April 19, 2008 from 8:00am-1:00pm. Be ready to get dirty! =)
Earth Day Festival / Celebrate CSUB
KAIBIGAN will be participating in this year's Earth Day Festival on April 26, 2008. We will be setting up a food booth at the amphitheater from 6:30-8:30am. Sales will begin at 9:00am. We will be selling our usual lumpia (but it's vegetable roll), vegetable noodles, and probably bottled waters. Tinikling dancers might be performing this day, so be sure you guys are practicing hard! This will be a great opportunity to raise funds for the club.
Relay for Life 2008
We are planning to raise $500+ for the Relay of Life 2008. This is a fun-filled overnight event to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research. During the event, teams of people (ie. families, friends, coworkers) take turns walking laps for 24 hours. We are very happy and proud to be a part of this event.
To KAIBIGAN members: The donations are due before the month of April ends.
Relay for life 2008 will be held on May 3-4 @ the soccer field in CSUB.
